Our tour program:
Our first stop, Murano, discover why the island is renowned for its glassworks with a visit to a local glass factory. Watch a skilled craftsman demonstrate glass making.Afterwards, you will have about an hour on the island to shop at one of the many glass shops. Head to Burano, known for its lace and brightly colored houses. Follow the guide into the heart of the city and you will have 2 hours of free time to buy a good lunch, typical Venetian aperitifs or have an ice cream in one of the many bars.Venture from Burano to Torcello, the first center of civilization in the estuary. Spend an hour of free time where you can go and see the Venetian-Byzantine mosaics at the Basilica of Santa Maria Assunta. Return to San Marco in the early evening.
